On Sept. 6th Mike Pelfrey went eight innings against the Chicago Cubs in which he allowed one run on five hits and one walk, while striking out five. It was a big outing for Pelfrey who had two horrible back-to-back outings, in 9.2 innings he allowed 11 runs on 17 hits and 10 walks while striking out seven.
I'm not a big Brian Schneider fan, especially with him hitting under .200 but it was clear to me that Pelfrey's good outing against the Cubs can be attributed to the catcher. InSource: Mets Fever RSS Feed
